When co-transfected with the reporter plasmid pGL2 into mammalian
cells, Luciferase GL2 RNA control duplex reduces GL2 expression.
When transfected in the absence of the pGL2 plasmid, it functions as
a negative control for the RNAi method. The complementary oligos
were 2'-deprotected, annealed, and purified and dried.
